Interleukin-4, IL-4 (bahasa Inggris: BSF1, BCGF1, BCGF-1, MGC79402code: en is deprecated ) adalah sitokina pleiotropik yang disekresi oleh sel T yang telah teraktivasi^[3] menjadi sel T_H2, bersama-sama dengan IL-5 dan IL-13.^[4] IL-4 berperan dominan dalam sistem kekebalan dan merupakan faktor yang penting dalam perkembangan hipersensitivitas,^[5] dengan fungsi seluler yang banyak tumpang-tindih dengan IL-13.^[3]
