Interleukin-6 (bahasa Inggris: Interleukin 6, Interferon beta-2, IFNB2, B cell differentiation factor, B cell stimulatory factor 2, BSF2, Hepatocyte stimulatory factor, HSF, Hybridoma growth factor, HGF, IL-6) adalah sitokina yang disekresi dari jaringan tubuh ke dalam plasma darah, terutama pada fase infeksi akut atau kronis, dan menginduksi respon peradangan transkriptis melalui pencerap IL-6 RA, menginduksi maturasi sel B.[4] dan pencerap gp130.[5]
