Penghalang saluran kalsium dihidropiridina

Penghambat saluran kalsium dihidropiridina (lebih dikenal sebagai "-dipin") adalah turunan dari 1,4-dihidropiridina yang digunakan sebagai penghalang saluran kalsium tipe-L.[1] Golongan obat ini digunakan dalam pengobatan hipertensi.[2]

Dibandingkan dengan penghalang saluran kalsium tipe-L tertentu lainnya (misalnya golongan fenilalkilamina seperti verapamil) yang memiliki aksi signifikan pada jantung, penghalang saluran kalsium dihidropiridina menurunkan tekanan darah terutama dengan merelaksasi otot polos dinding pembuluh darah.[3]
