Tyler Lee Hoechlin (/ˈhɛklɪn/; lahir 11 September 1987) adalah seorang aktor asal Amerika Serikat. Ia awalnya mendapat pengakuan karena memerankan Michael Sullivan Jr. dalam film Road to Perdition (2002). Di televisi, Hoechlin berperan sebagai Martin Brewer dalam 7th Heaven dari tahun 2003 hingga 2007, dan juga dikenal karena memerankan Derek Hale dalam Teen Wolf (2011–2014; 2017), Superman dalam Supergirl (2016–2019) dan Superman & Lois (2021–2024) dari The CW, dan karena mengisi suara Sephiroth dalam waralaba Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Kehidupan awal
Hoechlin lahir di Corona, California, pada 11 September 1987,[1] putra dari pasangan Lori dan Don Hoechlin. Ia menggambarkan latar belakang etnis keluarganya sebagai "Amerika Asli, Jerman, Irlandia, dan beberapa etnis lainnya".[2] Hoechlin memiliki dua saudara laki-laki dan seorang kakak perempuan.[3] Ia lulus dari SMA Santiago pada tahun 2006.[3]
