Rio Chima Ngumoha (lahir 29 Agustus 2008) adalah pemain sepak bola profesional Inggris yang bermain sebagai pemain sayap atau gelandang serang untuk klub Liga Utama Inggris, Liverpool.[3]
Karier klub
Chelsea
Ngumoha bergabung dengan akademi Chelsea pada usia delapan tahun dan mencetak gol dalam kemenangan 3-1 Chelsea atas Wolves di final Piala Liga Utama Inggris U-17 pada April 2024.[4][5]
Liverpool
Ngumoha bergabung dengan Liverpool pada musim panas 2024.[6][7][8]
Pada musim gugur 2024–25, Ngumoha dipanggil untuk berlatih bersama skuad tim utama Liverpool oleh manajer Arne Slot.[9][10][11] Ia masuk dalam daftar pemain pengganti pada hari pertandingan untuk pertandingan Piala EFL, Liverpool melawan Southampton pada 18 Desember 2024.[12] Pada 11 Januari 2025, Ngumoha menjalani debut profesionalnya sebagai starter dalam kemenangan 4–0 Liverpool atas Accrington Stanley di Piala FA. Ia menjadi pemain Liverpool termuda yang tampil di Piala FA pada usia 16 tahun, 135 hari dan sekaligus menjadi pemain termuda yang menjadi starter di tim utama dalam sejarah klub,[13] sebelum digantikan oleh Jayden Danns pada menit ke-71.[14]
Ngumoha dimasukkan ke dalam skuad Liverpool untuk tur pramusim Juli 2025 ke Hong Kong dan Jepang.[15] Ia tampil untuk klub dalam pertandingan persahabatan pramusim, dipuji atas penampilannya, mencetak dua gol dan dua assist dalam empat pertandingannya.[16] Pada 25 Agustus, Ngumoha menjalani debutnya di Liga Utama Inggris sebagai pemain pengganti di masa injury time untuk menggantikan Cody Gakpo dan mencetak gol pada menit ke-100, memastikan kemenangan tandang 3-2 atas 10 pemain Newcastle United, sekaligus menjadikannya pencetak gol termuda dalam sejarah klub.[17][18]
Karier internasional
Lahir di Inggris, Ngumoha merupakan keturunan Nigeria dan Guadeloupe. Rio memegang kewarganegaraan Nigeria dan Prancis dari orang tuanya.[19][20] Ia menjalani debut bersama timnas Inggris U-15 dan Inggris U-16 pada tahun 2023.[3] Pada Oktober 2024, ia bermain untuk timnas Inggris U-17.[21] Ia dipanggil untuk Kejuaraan Eropa U-17 UEFA 2025.[22]
