Quilombo


Quilombo (pelafalan dalam bahasa Portugis: [kiˈlõbu] ⓘ; dari kata Kimbundu kilombo, terj. har. 'kamp perang')[1] adalah sebuah pemukiman Brasil yang didirikan oleh orang-orang berdarah Afrika, dan lainnya yang terkadang disebut Carabali. Kebanyakan penghuni quilombo, yang disebut quilombola, adalah maroon, sebuah istilah untuk budak yang kabur.
