Ensiklopedia Dunia

Mosaik Romawi adalah mosaik yang dibuat pada masa Romawi. Mosaik-mosaik ini menghiasi berbagai bangunan publik dan pribadi.^[1] Mosaik-mosaik ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh mosaik Yunani Kuno dan sering kali menggambarkan tokoh-tokoh penting dalam sejarah dan mitologi. Banyak mosaik yang kini masih terjaga di reruntuhan-reruntuhan arkeologi seperti di Pompeii dan Herculaneum.
