Kae Yukawa (lahir 31 Agustus 1985), dikenal secara profesional sebagai Kae Alexander, adalah seorang aktris Inggris kelahiran Jepang. Ia memperoleh ketenaran melalui perannya sebagai Jing Hua dalam Bad Education[2] dan film spin-off-nya. Ia memerankan Leaf di musim keenam Game of Thrones, Linh Xuan Huy dalam drama Collateral,[3] dan Min Farshaw dalam serial The Wheel of Time.[4]
Dia muncul dalam daftar Bintang Baru Evening Standard tahun 2017.[5][6] Pada tahun 2019, dia terpilih untuk program Inisiatif British Academy of Film and Television Arts.[7]
Kehidupan awal
Alexander lahir di Kobe. Ia keturunan Jepang. Ia menghabiskan sebagian masa kecilnya di Tokyo dan tinggal di Hong Kong selama dua tahun sebelum pindah ke London bersama ibunya, Kinu, seorang koki dan guru kuliner, pada usia sepuluh tahun. Ia memiliki seorang saudara perempuan dan seorang saudara laki-laki.[8]
Alexander tertarik pada tari sejak remaja dan mengikuti kelas di Pineapple Studios. Ia mengembangkan minatnya pada akting melalui acara open house di BRIT School.[5] Ia kemudian lulus dengan gelar Sarjana Seni dari Guildhall School of Music and Drama pada tahun 2011.[9][10]
