Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics adalah jurnal ilmiah tinjauan sejawat bulanan yang mencakup bidang farmakologi. Jurnal ini didirikan pada tahun 1909 dan diterbitkan oleh Elsevier atas nama American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. Jurnal ini utamanya menerbitkan artikel penelitian asli, dan menerima naskah yang mencakup seluruh aspek interaksi bahan kimia dengan sistem biologis.
John Jacob Abel mendirikan perhimpunan tersebut pada bulan Desember 1908 ketika ia mengundang 18 ahli farmakologi ke laboratoriumnya untuk membentuk sebuah perhimpunan baru.[1] Pada akhir pertemuan tersebut, Abel mengumumkan pendirian jurnal ini.[2]
