Jean Merilyn Simmons OBE (31 Januari 1929 – 22 Januari 2010) adalah seorang aktris dan penyanyi Inggris.[1][2] Salah satu "bintang muda yang pandai berbicara" J. Arthur Rank, Ia tampil dominan dalam film-film, dimulai dengan film-film yang dibuat di Inggris selama dan setelah Perang Dunia Kedua, diikuti terutama oleh film-film Hollywood sejak 1950 dan seterusnya.[3]
Simmons dinominasikan untuk Academy Award untuk Aktris Pendukung Terbaik atas Hamlet (1948), dan memenangkan Golden Globe Award untuk Aktris Terbaik atas Guys and Dolls (1955). Penampilannya dalam film lainnya termasuk Great Expectations (1946), Black Narcissus (1947), The Blue Lagoon (1949), So Long at the Fair (1950), Angel Face (1953), Young Bess (1953), The Robe (1953), The Big Country (1958), Elmer Gantry (1960), Spartacus (1960), dan film tahun 1969 The Happy Ending, yang membuatnya dinominasikan untuk Academy Award untuk Aktris Terbaik.
