He Jiankui ([xɤ̂ tɕjânkʰwěɪ]; Hanzi: 贺建奎; kelahiran 1984) adalah seorang peneliti biofisika Tiongkok yang menjadi wakil profesor dalam Jurusan Biologi Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) di Shenzhen, Tiongkok.[2][3][4] Meraih gelar Ph.D. dari Rice University di Texas melalui disertasi tentang evolusi protein, yang meliputi CRISPR, ia mempelajari teknik penyuntingan gen (CRISPR/Cas9) sebagai peneliti pasca-doktoral di Universitas Stanford, California.[5]
