Gens Flavia
Gens Flavia adalah sebuah keluarga jelata di Romawi kuno. Para anggotanya pertama kali disebutkan pada tiga abad terakhir Republik Romawi. Anggota Flavii yang mula-mula meraih pengaruh adalah Marcus Flavius pada 327 dan 323 SM. Namun, tak ada anggota keluarga Flavius yang menjabat sebagai konsul sampai Gaius Flavius Fimbria pada 104 SM. Keluarga tersebut menjadi tersohor pada abad pertama Masehi, kala keluarga Flavii Sabini mengklaim martabat kekaisaran.[1]
