Enchodus (dari bahasa Yunani untuk "gigi tombak")^[2] adalah sebuah genus ikan sirip kipas aulopiform punah, yang berkerabat dengan ikan lanset dan belungkur. Spesies Enchodus umum ditemukan pada periode Kapur Akhir, dimana mereka berperan sebagai komponen ekosistem air asin yang tersebar luas di seluruh dunia, dan terdapat beberapa bukti bahwa mereka sintas hingga Paleosen atau Eosen; tetapi, hal ini barangkali hanyalah contoh dari material periode kapur yang tergeser belakangan ke sedimen yang lebih muda.^[3][4][5]
