Binar atau pohon mentega Afrika (Latin: Pentadesma butyracea) adalah spesies tumbuhan berbunga^[3] yang pertama kali dideskripsikan oleh Joseph Sabine.^[4] Spesies tumbuhan ini termasuk dalam genus Pentadesma, famili Clusiaceae.^[3][5]
