Amblyopinae adalah subfamili ikan gobi berlumpur memanjang yang biasa disebut ikan gobi sidat atau gobi cacing. Subfamili ini dianggap sebagai subfamili dari famili Gobiidae, sedangkan edisi ke-5 Fishes of the World mengklasifikasikannya sebagai subfamili dari famili Oxudercidae.[1] Anggota subfamili ini memiliki dua sirip punggung yang dihubungkan oleh struktur membran dan matanya berukuran sangat kecil. Anggotanya biasanya berwarna merah muda, merah, atau ungu.[2]
